The Department welcomes Visiting PhD Students willing to spend up to three quarters at UPF, conditional on availability of office space. Visiting students are allowed to take graduate courses (up to 12 ECTS per term) and to attend and present in the Department's seminars.

The fee for visiting students is € 1000 per quarter. ​The fee covers the use of an office and access to the IT facilities and must be paid before the term starts.

Application Form

Upon reception of the application, the student will be conatacted by the GPEFM Office to provide the following documents:

  • Two letters of recommendation / One of them must be from a UPF-DEE faculty member
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Passport or ID photocopy
  • Proof of being registered in a PhD Program

 

* Postdoctoral visiting researchers who wish to attend courses will be required to pay a fee of €1,000 for up to 12 ECTS credits.
