In general terms, the Communication Office is entrusted to define the objectives and plan and design the actions that the University will carry out in the field of communication, and manage coordination with the media, according to the goals set by the Rector’s Office. It shall also promote, plan and coordinate the performance of activities aimed at maintaining the University’s presence on social networks.
It is also entrusted to ensure efficient communication and relations with the media; develop and disseminate university current affairs; manage the institutional social networks and coordinate other networks within the scope of the University; coordinate production of institutional audiovisual content; promote and coordinate activities for the dissemination of research, science and technology; develop, implement and coordinate institutional communication plans and advise users on the design of their communication plans; propose and establish the guidelines and criteria for the use of these channels, tools and information and communication products on any medium; manage the institutional website (public site and Campus Global) and design their information architecture, and any others that may be entrusted to it.
