The Human Resources and Organizational Development Area, directed by a deputy general manager, directs, coordinates, promotes and assesses programmes for the management of people and occupational health, process of administrative modernization as well as collective bargaining and labour relations. It directs and coordinates the PAS Service and the PDI Service. The Office for the Prevention of Occupational Hazards and Health Promotion, the Organization and Development Office and the Payroll, Budget and Information Systems Office also report to it.
Born in Sabadell (Vallès Occidental) in 1966, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Business Sciences (UAB, 1989); a master’s degree in Public Administration (UAB, 1991), university specialization diploma in Managerial Functions in Public Administration (ESADE, 2013), and an Executive Master in Public Administration (ESADE, 2014).
She has spent most of her professional career in the public sector. Before becoming assistant manager of the Human Resources and Organization Area at UPF, she was deputy manager of Human Resources and Organization at the Ministry of Health of the Generalitat (Government) of Catalonia (2004-2015).
She was also head of the External Relations Area of the Police Academy of Catalonia, in the Ministry of Governance of the Catalan Government (1992-1995), as well as a senior technician in Economics at the Budgets and Management Control Section of the Programming Service of Barcelona Provincial Council (1999-2004).
Between 1996 and 1999 she worked in the private sector, first as head of exports at the company Molduras Castellar S.A., (MOLCASA); later as head of administration at the company CALPORTA S.L., (Grup MOLCASA).
She was appointed for her post by the rector on 1 January 2016.
