A year after your degree application has been formalised, you will receive an e-mail at the e-mail address you provided in the application form, to pick up your degree.

Only if you have received the communication that your degree is already available can you make an appointment to pick it up at the Student Information Point (PIE).

You will have to pick it up in person, with proof of identification in the form of your ID card or passport. It is possible for another person to pick it up, but only if you authorise them by means of a power of attorney. In this case, the authorised person must provide the following documents:

  • The power of attorney
  • Photocopy of their ID card, NIE or passport

If the power of attorney has been formalised before a foreign notary, the document must be legalised through diplomatic channels or apostilled, if the country from which the document originates is a signatory to the Hague Convention of 1961.

If your residence is outside Catalonia, the Academic Management Service can send your degree to the Government Delegation or Consular Office closest to your place of residence. There is an additional cost for this service.
