Germany has made valuable contributions to the world of culture and is known as "Das Land der Dichter und Denker" (the land of poets and thinkers). German literature, music, theater and cinema are internationally successful. In addition, the richness and cultural variety present in the various lands are remarkable: for example, there are interesting regional differences in gastronomy and traditional festivals. With this course you will be able to learn or expand your knowledge of some of the main elements of German culture.

At the end of the course, you will have basic knowledge about the following aspects of German culture:
 

• Literature
• Cinema and theater
• Music Art and architecture
• Media
• Gastronomy
• Traditional festivities
• German society

Course objectives:

• Recipients: This course is open to the UPF community and the external public from the age of 16.
• Duration and modality: 6 hours by videoconference (1 weekly class of 2 hours for 3 weeks).
• Calendar and schedule: Tuesday (May 3, 10, 17) from 12.30 to 2.30pm.
• Students per group: Minimum 8 - maximum 12.
• UPF certificate: Certificate of attendance.

Price: 60€

• The price of the 6-hour course includes teaching by videoconference, the material needed to follow the course and the certificate of attendance.
• Idiomes UPF reserves the right to cancel any edition that does not reach the minimum number of students required (8). In this case, the full amount of the course will be refunded.
