Students opinionThese Catalan courses are carried online on the platform parla.cat. The first day of the course there will be an introduction and the teacher will explain how this platform works. There will also be three follow-up, face-to-face, sessions before the final exam.

- Quaterly calendar: October-December / January-March / March-May (calendar)
- ECTS credits: Up to 3 ECTS credits. To obtain credits for extracurricular activities, you will need to collect the certificate in our office and bring it to your academic coordinator at your home university (FAQ)
- UPF Certificate: Certificate with level CEFR consolidated
- Number of students per group: 13 maximum

LEVEL 4 (B2.1 CEFR)
- Presentation: October 11, 3.00 - 4.30 pm
- Tutorials: October 20, November 3 & 24 (1.30 - 3.30 pm)
- Final exam: December 1, 2.30 - 4.30 pm
- Registration period: from June 27 to October 6
LEVEL 5 (B2.2 CEFR)
- Presentation: January 15, 3.00 - 4.00 pm
- Tutorials: January 26 + February 9 & 23 (1.30 - 3.30 pm)
- Final exam: March 1, 2.30 - 4.30 pm
- Registration period: November 27 to January 10
LEVEL 6 (C1.1 CEFR)
- Presentation: March 5, 3.00 - 4.00 pm
- Tutorials: March 15 + April 5 & 19 (1.30 - 3.30 pm)
- Final exam: April 26, 2.30 - 4.30 pm
- Registration period: February 5 to March 3
Entry requirements
You can enrol directly on the level you think you have to take and, afterwards, you will have to demonstrate your level by:
- sending a certificate to [email protected]
- taking a free virtual level test
We will confirm your enrollment on the course once you have demonstrated your level and if necessary, we will change the level you have initially selected.
Subsidized fee for the UPF Community members: €60
IMPORTANT: If you are a student or a worker of the integrated centers (BSM, ELISAVA, ESCI, ESIM, PRBB and/or TCM) or as if you are external to the UPF unfortunately you have no access to these courses. Idiomes UPF will check that all applicants have access to the course. Otherwise, Idiomes UPF will withdraw from the course all applicant that have no access to the course.
- The fee includes the teaching, the additional material and the UPF course certificate.
- If the student decides to leave the course, please note that under no circumstances will the fee for the course be refunded. Only if Idiomes UPF cancel a course, will the full fee for the course be refunded.
