NODE UPF autumn: November 7-9, 2023
In November 2022, the first edition was held of NODE UPF, a week packed with transfer and outreach activities to companies, public institutions and third sector entities to showcase possibilities and opportunities for collaboration and contribute to the dissemination of the knowledge generated at UPF. In the spring of 2023, we held the second edition of NODE UPF, which focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and scientific dissemination activities, as well as on audiovisual creation industries and spaces, while also including the first edition of the +RAIN Film Fest and the AI & WEB3 Creatives Summit, in collaboration with Sónar+D.
Now it’s the turn of the autumn edition, which will be held from 7 to 9 November and will include the re-foundational session of the UPF Social and Business Forum, a joint space for reflection and debate and the search for opportunities for collaboration with companies and organizations close to UPF.

From 7 to 9 November, the third edition will be held of UPF NODE, a week focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation and scientific dissemination activities, as well as on audiovisual creation industries and spaces.

PRESENTATION OF IN RESIDENCE AND ARSENAL PROJECTS

Presentation to the socioeconomic sector of applied research projects, audiovisual creation projects and start-ups of the cultural and creative industries hosted in the In Residence and ARSENAL programmes, two initiatives for incubation and knowledge transfer around the cultural and creative industries. A space for exchanging experiences and networking.

19th edition of the UPF general employment fair
On 8 November, the fair will be held on site: a networking space between the eighty participating companies and institutions, students and alumni, and simultaneously, quick face-to-face interview sessions will take place throughout the day (speed jobbing).

Presentation of the case for the defence of a patent by the company Fractus, which is explained in the book Fractus, l'au phoenix, (Fractus the phoenix) presented by its author: Rubén Bonet. During the event, the UPF Start-up seal will be awarded, in recognition of innovative enterprises created by entrepreneurial UPF students and alumni.

SOCIAL AND BUSINESS FORUM
Poblenou campus
First session of the new Social and Business Forum promoted by the UPF Board of Trustees. The Forum, made up of senior officers of some thirty companies and organizations of various types and from a range of sectors, aims to be a space for meeting and joint reflection, where opportunities for debate and collaboration are created among the members of the Forum and scholars, researchers and officers of the University.
