The faculty's 21 PhD and master students who will be teaching this year for the first time in the Faculty of Translation and Language Sciences will have to complete a two-week online course on teaching innovation. This custom-made course will now be a mandatory requirement for all newly hired teachers. It includes content specifically adapted to the Faculty of Translation and Language Sciences and it is taught in English. Throughout the course, participants will learn about teaching innovation and how to convey knowledge in the new educational paradigm. The course includes personal feedback on the participants' actual teaching by means of the videorecording of one of their classes -an highly positively-valued activity also included in the FIDU, the UPF's Initial Teaching Programme.
