36 Ideas for Innovation in Teaching at Phase I of the 2019-2020 PlaCLIK

01.04.2019

The Plan for Supporting Quality and Innovation in Learning and Knowledge (Pla d'Ajuts de Suport a la Qualitat i a la Innovació en l'Aprenentatge i el Coneixement (PlaCLIK) is a UPF grant scheme with the aim of giving support to new projects related to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees which both provide innovations, and meet the needs of the teaching-learning process.

After the formal assessment of 39 Phase I applications, 36 proposals have passed the evaluation process.

The objective of this first phase is to collect educational innovation ideas to later develop the derivative projects. Based on an external peer review evaluation, the value of the proposal is taken into consideration in relation to at least one of the strategic, thematic axes of the EDvolució project (which is currently being developed by the UPF). Proposals are also valued that connect with the best international practices in educational innovation and which include some of the sustainable development goals (SDGs). As in previous editions, the projects must include innovative methodologies and integrate one of the four transversal lines proposed in the rules of the competition (internationalization, multilingualism, social engagement and sustainable development, and multi-disciplinarity and networking).

Once the selected ideas have been published, on the 11th of April, a project preparation workshop will be proposed to start Phase II, the presentation of projects, from the 6th of May to the 3rd of June.
