Judit Martinez-Moreno is a PhD student in the ICT Department of Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. Her research interests lie in Technology-Enhanced Learning, Learning Design and the development of the 21st Century Digital Skills. She received her BSc in Psychology from the University of Girona and worked as an Educational Psychologist in an Asperger’s Syndrome Association. She obtained her Master’s in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media from the University Pompeu Fabra and her master thesis was focused on the introduction of Maker Methodology in Primary Education. She has been working as a research assistant in different projects such as Makers per la Inclusió, Illuminated, ChangeMakers, Makers a les Aules, etc. She has also been an adjunct professor teaching, on the one hand, the Science of Learning and, on the other hand, Research Methodologies. She’s currently working fostering critical thinking among teenagers for facing the threats of social media through digital literacy, in the context of the project Courage for Secondary Education. She is also working in the DTIPS project introducing the Design Thinking methodology in Primary Education.
