  Diplomatic legalisation or Hague Apostille

If your degree and academic transcript were issued by a country outside the European Union, the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway), or Switzerland, they must be legalized.

• What should you keep in mind?

  • Where is it done? Diplomatic legalization or the Hague Apostille must always be obtained in the country where the degree was originally issued.

  • Special case (China): If you studied in China, we recommend requesting document verification directly through CHESICC (Ministry of Education of China).

  Sworn translation

• Only if the documents are not in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian or Portuguese.

• Both the original and the translation must be submitted

  Responsible declaration of authenticity: Download the form

  Direct debit mandate (SEPA): Download the form

• Only if you pay by direct debit.

• It must be signed by the account holder.

Contact the secretary's office to arrange how to submit the following documents:

• Discounts and scholarships.
• Degree homologation or equivalence document (if applicable)
• Proof of permanent residence (only for master's degree students)

PhD scholarship holders

If you are enrolling as a scholarship holder, you must download and submit the Conditional Scholarship Holder form available in the Discounts and scholarships section.

Exception: it is not necessary to submit it if you are a beneficiary of the Ministry’s General Scholarship.
