Diego Andreucci

“Juan de la Cierva” Research Fellow of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.

He received his PhD from the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), within the “Marie Curie”-funded project “European Network for Political Ecology". He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Manchester (2013) and at the University of Syracuse (2015) and an adjunct researcher at the Institute of Social Innovation, ESADE-Ramon Llull University in Barcelona. Research Gate.

Marta Conde Puigmal

PhD, Co-PI at the "Activism Mobilising Science” project funded by Recercaixa, at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the Pompeu Fabra University. Conde received her PhD from the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and has participated in several European funded research projects  (EJOLT, B-MINCOME, NATURVATION). 

Conde's research explores the reaction to the expansion of extractive industries engaging with the fields of political ecology, ecological economics and geography. She has linked her research with other socio-environmental conflicts, the environmental justice movement and degrowth. Her latest research explores one of the strategies used by resistance movements in socio-environmental conflicts; the alliance between science and activism.
