Joan Miró is Assistant Professor in EU Politics & Policy at Pompeu Fabra University. He received his PhD in Political Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2019. Afterward, he worked at Milan University and Institut Barcelona Estudis Internacionals (IBEI). His research interests lie in European integration, particularly the socioeconomic governance of the EMU, social policy, and international political economy. He has published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of European Integration, Review of International Political Economy, West European Politics or Global Society. His forthcoming book, written with Maurizio Ferrera and Stefano Ronchi, is titled Social Reformism 2.0: Work, Welfare and Progressive Politics in the 21st Century (Edward Elgar).
