On 4 May 2026, a session on inclusive memory of migration, chaired by Gemma Pinyol-Jiménez (GRITIM-UPF), took place in Palau Macaya. The event formed part of a cycle promoted by Ricard Zapata-Barrero (GRITIM-UPF) together with Club of Rome, and organised with the collaboration of Memorial Democràtic and Fundación “la Caixa.”
The session featured the participation of Ramon Espadaler, Minister of Justice and Democratic Quality of the Government of Catalonia, who underlined the importance of an “inclusive memory” of migration in strengthening social cohesion and democratic coexistence.
