Oriol Puig, responsible and Professor of the course on Postcolonial Studies of the Master in Migration Studies (UPF), invited Dr. Kwaku Arhi-Sam (Ghana) who gave a lecture on the externalization of borders in Nigeria. 

Dr. Kwaku Arhin-Sam, Executive Director of the Friedensau Institute for Evaluation (FIFE), a consulting research institute at Friedensau, Germany, and an international migration scholar from Ghana, gave a lecture on the externalization of European borders in Nigeria from a post-colonial perspective.

During the session, in the framework of the course on Postcolonial Studies and Mediterranean History of the GRITIM-UPF Master, he analyzed the different migration patterns in the country and dissected the migration governance arrangements implemented by Nigeria at the behest of international agencies and the EU."
