We are happy to announce that Yacine Belahcene will be playing at the gala dinner that will take place during the 15thIMISCOE Annual Conference in July in Barcelona (organized by GRITIM-UPF).
Yacine Belahcene is a singer of an Algerian father and a Catalan mother who navigates through the Mediterranean claiming his musicality with sounds that resonate in the ports of Alger, Marseille, or Barcelona, fleeing from stereotypes built without a base, fruit of the prejudices of our neighborhoods and cities. Having the presence of Yacine Belahcene will enrich even more this event that will be about Europe, Migrations and the Mediterranean: Human Mobilities and Intercultural challenges.
The Concert is sponsored by IEMed (European Institute of the Mediterranean) and will take place at the Maritime Museum in Barcelona the 3rd July, same place and just after the Gala Dinner.
