This project lasts from March, 2015 to February, 2016 and it is funded by the Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica y Técnica y de Innovación 2013-2016. Retos 2015 Acciones de Dinamización "Europa Investigación".

The objective of this project is to prepare a proposal for a high-level call H2020 - ITN for a "European network of research and training" dedicated to young researchers and doctoral students on "Diversity and Cultural Policy - DIVCULTURE". This project aims to provide early-stage researchers with the opportunity to improve their skills, to join the main research teams already established, and thus enhance their research career.
This project arises from an already established cooperation on the themes of diversity, immigration and cultural policies. The network is based on the three research centres that coordinate the Standing Committee of IMISCOE "Popular Art, Diversity and Cultural Policies in Post-Migration Urban Settings - POPADIVCIT": GRITIM-UPF, CEDEM- University of Liège (Belgium), and the Institute for Urban and Regional Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna (Austria). IMISCOE (http://www.imiscoe.org) is the largest European network of researchers in the field of migration and integration.
