GIL DE MONTES GARIN, LUCIA
Lucía Gil de Montes Garín is a PhD candidate in the Translation and Language Sciences program at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She holds a master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature (University of Jaén), as well as undergraduate degrees in Hispanic Philology and Translation and Interpreting (University of Córdoba). In 2023, she was awarded a University Teacher Training Fellowship (FPU) by the Spanish Ministry of Universities. She has taught Spanish as an additional language and has been part of the organizing committee for scientific activities and teaching innovation projects. She is the author of several book reviews and articles published in high impact journals and has presented papers at various international conferences focused on Spanish for Specific Purposes and discourse genres, which constitute her current research line. Her doctoral thesis focuses on improving oral discourse competence in business Spanish through genre-based pedagogy.
