2013-2017

From 2013 to 2017, I was a teaching assistant at the Department of Translation and Language Sciences of Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and taught seminars of the following courses: Comparative Use of Catalan and Spanish (BA in Translation and Interpreting), Editing and proofreading (BA in Translation and Interpreting), Translation Technologies (BA in Translation and Interpreting), Advanced CA-ES Translation (BA in Translation and Interpreting), ES-CA/CA-ES Translation (BA in Translation and Interpreting), and Spanish (BA in Applied Languages).

 

Teaching at other universities

As of 2024, I am co-teaching the course Introduction to Accessibility (MA in New Technologies, Localisation, and Audiovisual Translation) at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina).

From 2017 to 2020, I worked as an external teaching consultant at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, where I taught the course EN-CA Contrastive Linguistics (BA in Translation and Applied Languages).

During my postdoc (2018-2020), I taught courses on Subtitling and Methodology of the MA thesis at the MA in Audiovisual Translation at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, as well as Audiovisual Translation at the BA in Translation and Interpreting at the same university.

Previously, I taught a course on IT and Dictionary Making at the MA in Dictionary Making and Lexicon Control Quality at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (Madrid) (2017-2019), as well as courses in Research Methods and Translation for Language Learning Purposes at the MA in Teaching English as a Foreign language at Universidad Europea del Atlántico (Santander) (2018).
