When the registration period ends, we will send you a message with the instructions so that you can access the application and download and print the invitations of your guests and, at the beginning of July, you will be able to download yours as a graduate. You MUST bring the invitations with you on the day of the event to access the venue.

You will have three guaranteed guest invitations in the Roger de Llúria courtyard. The fourth invitation, as well as the space assigned to it (the Roger de Llúria courtyard or the Jaume I auditorium), will be subject to the final seating availability.

Once the registration period has finished, we will know if any invitations are still available, according to the number of participants registered and the capacity of the venue (courtyard of the Roger de Llúria building). If there are any spare seats, they will be offered to students who are registered.

If the venue is expected to be full, the auditorium of the Ciutadella campus will be prepared so that other guests may attend to watch the live broadcast of the ceremony and at the end of the event meet up with the graduate and the two guests.

Of course graduates might want to be accompanied by their family at the ceremony, but remember, a graduation ceremony may be rather unsuitable for young children. If they do attend, children over the age of three years must have an invitation.

If you have one or more guest invitations that you will not be using, you can give them to a fellow ceremony guest.

The Graduation Ceremony is a free event for all attendees, both graduates and their guests. Therefore, invitations may not be used for commercial purposes. Fraudulent use may result in exclusion from the ceremony.

Graduates are to sit at the front of the courtyard, in front of the stage, and your place is assigned with your name (it is printed on the invitation), as you will be sitting according to your study and in alphabetical order.

It is very important on the day of the event that you sit in the designated place. Guests sit behind the area of graduates, and their seats are not numbered.

Everyone attending the ceremony, graduates and guests, must bring their invitation on paper or show the PDF with the code on a mobile phone. People without an invitation or who have copies or duplicates of the invitations will not be able enter.

There is no established protocol regarding the attire of graduates. Take a look at the photos on the graduation website from previous editions, so you can get an idea.

Of course the graduates want to be accompanied by their family at the event, but you must understand that a graduation ceremony can be tedious for children. If they do attend, children under three years of age must sit on the lap of one of the family members; children over three must have their own invitation due to safety regulations concerning the capacity of the venue.

The parking facilities next to the Ciutadella campus are under construction. Currently, the closest car parks to the campus are BSM Marina Port (Marina, 13-17) and BSM Hospital del Mar (passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta, 23-31).

Yes. Attendees may take photographs and recordings of the ceremony from the areas designated for the public. To ensure the smooth running of the ceremony and the comfort of all participants, external professionals are not permitted to access the or move around the venue during the event. Official audiovisual coverage will be provided exclusively by services authorized by the University.
