Law Innovation Area

The Law Teaching Innovation Area´s mission is to promote innovation in teaching at UPF and, in particular, in the area of teaching at the Academic Coordination Unit Law Department. The Law Teaching Innovation Area is part of the Innovation Network.

 

What is the Innovation Network?

The Innovation Network is a network made up of different bodies devoted to quality and pedagogical transformation of learning processes. It is coordinated by the Academic Coordination Unit Innovation Managers, the Vice-Rector Office of Educational Transformation, Culture and Communication, the EDvolució commission, and CLIK staff. Its aim is to promote and implement educational improvement strategies at UPF which involve the interaction and coordination of various Academic Coordination Units (UCA) and other external institutions.

 

What does the Innovation Network do?

The Innovation Network is responsible for:

  • Promote projects for teaching innovation and improvement.
  • Promote cooperation and/or collaboration through sharing good practices inspired by, for example, Scholarship approaches.
  • Contribute to set and apply standards and quality indicators of teaching innovation at UPF.
  • Become a driving force for educational transformation and renewal at the University.
  • Generate room for discussion about current trends and needs in university higher education.
  • Be a reference model for knowledge and educational trends for practical application in classrooms (online and offline) at UPF.
  • Encourage interaction between experts in the field of education within and outside the University.
  • Facilitate the improvement of teaching quality through mutual observation practices and peer review.
  • Develop analysis, diagnosis and research in the field of education and in the specific areas in which UPF specializes.

 

 

About us

Head of Teaching Innovation Area of the UCA Law Department

The head of Teaching Innovation of the UCA Law Department is Dr. Rosa Milà Rafel, Ramón y Cajal researcher of the Patrimonial Law Research Group of the UPF. 

The head of Teaching Innovation manages issues related to educational innovation at the UCA Law Department. Her functions are to coordinate and lead the educational innovation projects within the UPF Strategic Plan, as well as to contribute and encourage the UCA Law Department PDI to develop professionally in the field of teaching and to participate in teaching innovation calls.
