M. Teresa Cabré Castellví, emeritus full professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, member of the  IULATERM (Lèxic i Tecnologia) research group at Institute for Applied Linguístics (IULA), and chair of the Càtedra Pompeu Fabra, has been re-elected president of the Philological Section at Institut d’Estudis Catalans (the Catalan academy for language). During his first term (2014-2018), most notably the Gramàtica de la llengua catalana (2016) and the Ortografia catalana (2017) were published. During his second term (2018-2022), and with the same management board (Mila Segarra, Ramon Sistac, and Màrius Serra), further linguistic normative-oriented resources in Catalan are expected to appear.
