The Technical Commission of the Fundació Mercè Rodoreda has awarded a grant (3000 euros) for the elaboration of a research project to the doctoral candidate Pedro Ivorra Ordines for his reserach project Les comparcions fraseològiques en La plaça del Diamant i les seues traduccions. Pedro Ivorra is PhD student at the Phd programme on Translation and Languages Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University. His supervisors of thesis are prof. Jenny Brumme (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and prof. Carmen Mellado Blanco (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela).

The grant will be presented in the Sala Prat de la Riba at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans at a public ceremony on 20 April 2018, at 12 noon.
