On February 28^th and March 1^st, 2^nd, the workshop “Taller intensive de retour ES-En” will be held at the Campus Poblenou of the University Pompeu Fabra. It is organized by Lia Giralt (lecturer at the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation) and Aline Casanova (conference interpreter) as Retour Workshops with the intention of satisfying the demand for quality lifelong learning for conference interpreters. With this purpose in mind, they have gathered three high level trainers: Matthew Perret, conference interpreter at the European Institutions and trainer at several European universities and in different courses at the UN, the European Parliament, the African Union, among others. He is also in charge of the Online Ressources for Conference Interpreting Training of the European Commission, ORCIT. The other trainers are Phil Smith, conference interpreter in Geneva and lecturer at the University of Wesminster for several years, as well as trainer in different courses at the European Institutions and at the University of Geneva; and Alan Rodgers, who has a broad experience as an interpreter in the service of the European Institutions.
