Rosa Estopà Bagot

I am associate professor in the Departament of Translation and Language Sciences at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona from 2009, where I'm teaching courses on terminology, neology, applied linguistics and Catalan language from 1994.

I'm full time researcher in the Institut Universitari de Lingüística Aplicada (IULA) from 1994, and I am member of IULATERM research group. I am coordinator of Master in Terminology (online). I am member of the Observatori de Neologia (transfer unit) from its fundation in 1989. I collaborate with Open University of Catalonia from 2009 and with Institut Bonanova del Parc de Salut del Mar from 2015..

I am also expert on language therapy and I'm regularly involved in postgraduate teaching activities in this domain.

Now, I am especially interested in Lexical Neology (NEOXOC and NEOROC), Medical Terminology  (JUNTS-RECERCAIXA and TERMMED) and Society and School Scientific Knowledge Transfer  (Jugant a definir la ciència).
