- ¿Dividir el liderazgo de los partidos para tener más mujeres líderes? Un estudio del liderazgo colectivo de los partidos políticos desde la perspectiva de género. IP: Astudillo Ruiz, Javier. This project seeks to analyze how the division of party leadership among various people, as already happens in some parties of advanced democracies, affects womens access, action capacity and exit from these leading party positions. - educoGEN: Metodología participativa audiovisual en educación secundaria para revertir las desigualdades de género. El projecte té com a objectiu avaluar l’impacte de la metodologia participativa audiovisual en l’àmbit educatiu per a la desconstrucció dels imaginaris i les pràctiques sexistes en adolescents d’entre 12 i 16 anys de diferents nivells socioeconòmics. - Football and Visual Culture under Francoism: Discourses of Class, Gender and National Construction in Cinema, Newsreels and the Press 1939-1975. IP: Garin Boronat, Manuel. T he goal of this research project is to identify, analyze and document the main themes and forms of visual representation of football in Spain during Francoism, focusing on three critical points of view: class discourse (1), gender (2) and national construction (3). - Instrumentos de rendición de cuentas ante la desinformación: impacto de las plataformas de fact checking como herramientas de accountability y propuesta curricular PI: Rodríguez Martínez, Ruth. The project proposes examining how accountability instruments evolve and adapt to deal with the problem of misinformation and identify which accountability mechanisms have recently been created for this purpose. La intersección de religión y género en contextos transculturales. La Península ibérica y el Mediterráneo en la época premoderna. IP: Jones, Linda Gale. This project studies the role of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish religious agents in the interaction and spreading of ideas of religious identity and otherness in medieval and modern Mediterranean societies. It analyzes the role of these agents in negotiating transcultural relations; and it explores how the gender topic influence in these identity and otherness constructions, as well as in transcultural interactions. Project start and end: 2023-2026.
- La situació de les persones grans amb dependència funcional i les persones cuidadores a Barcelona. IP: Lanau Sanchez, Alba. Project coordinated by Universitat de Barcelona. The aim of this project is to analyze the living conditions and characteristics of people in a situation of functional dependency (SFD) in Barcelona and of the people in charge of care (management and assistance), in order to assess their needs by differentiating their profiles, as well as the different care strategies they develop. Project start and end: 2023-2026.
- Lobbying and Compassion. Interest groups, discourse and nonhuman animals in Spain- COMPASS. IP: Almiron Roig, Nuria. COMPASS aims to examine how compassion is prevented from flourishing and developing in modern society because of the activity of a major public relations actor and public affairs: interest groups. Project start and end: 2021-2025.
- MentalHealth PI: Garcia Benavides, Fernando. The project will focus on wellbeing and mental health in academia. General knowledge about the causes of wellbeing in the workplace and mental health should be refined with contextual details (i.e., in the academic field) to develop personalized, effective and efficient action and prevention programmes. Project start and end: 2020-2024.
- Microdiachrony in endangered languages across modalities (MICRODIAC(H)RO). IP: Barberà Altimira, Gemma i Quer Villanueva, Jose Francisco. This project focuses on two endangered languages in different modalities: Catalan Sign Language (LSC, Catalonia) and Griko (Italiot- Greek variety of Salento, Southern Italy). Change in morphosyntactic properties within such languages has received very little attention so far. This project will make a novel contribution to fill this gap in research from a cross-modal perspective on two fronts: (a) exploring how diachronic change in a relatively small time span can be detected, described and accounted for (microdiachrony), and (b) creating research resources in the form of two corpora that include transcribed and annotated data to make the study of grammatical change feasible. Millora digital col·lectiva a l'educació: inspiració informada, mútua i oberta (DICOLED). IP: Hernandez Leo, Davinia. DICOLED will launch activities aimed at the dissemination of Open Educational Resources (REO) on the best (non-university) classroom proposals that apply the Teaching Digital Competence and the digitization of educational centers, awareness of critical aspects of CDD (ethics, digital well-being) and facilitating processes for mutual inspiration. Project start and end: 2023-2024.

Mutaciones de los Motivos Visuales en la Esfera Pública. Representaciones del poder en España 2017-21: pandemia, cambio climático, identidades de género y conflictos raciales IP: Pintor Iranzo, Ivan Co-IP: Salvadó Corretger, Glòria. Over the last five years, the visual construction of the public sphere has undergone a radical transformation around four essential vectors: the pandemic, climate change, gender identities, and racial conflicts. Based on the study of these vectors, the central aim of the project is to analyze the presence, production, and circulation of the visual motifs related to power through images disseminated in print and digital media and TV newsreels in Spain from 2017-2021.nbsp; Project start and end:2022-2025.

Políticas lingüísticas e inclusión en la universidad internacionalizada: Foco sociolingüístico y educacional para impulsar la equidad, la diversidad y la interculturalidad (INCLU-LINGUAM). IP: Trenchs Parera, Mireia . The INCLU-LINGUAM project aims to bring the inclusion and equity dimensions to (1) the growing research on internationalization at universities, and (2) the design of higher education plurilingual language policies. Project start and end: 2023-2027.
- Razón pública global: derechos humanos, legitimidad democrática y cambio demográfico (GLOPUR). IP: Moreso Mateos, Josep Joan. The expected impact is to develop a model of public reason that serves to assess the legitimacy of political decisions and institutions at the international and global level -e.g. the European Court of Human Rights-, at the same time that it serves as a useful criteria for the design of political institutions and decisions at the international and global level . Reforzando los derechos de las personas trabajadoras en riesgo de exclusión social en la economía verde y circular (GreenPoors). IP: Chacartegui Javega, Consuelo.The premise from which we start at GreenPoors is that the transition towards a circular and green economy will involve multiple labour law institutions, especially in relation to the vulnerable groups of workers. Therefore, the actions that mitigate the risk of social exclusion with respect to vulnerable workers must constitute one of the priorities of the different public and private actions towards a new productive model of circular and green economy with social and democratic foundations. Project start and end: 2023-2026.
- Trayectorias de vida de agresores y víctimas de violencia en pareja. PI: Rodríguez Menes, Jorge. The study proposes to analyze the life-long penal, employment, and health trajectories of perpetrators and victims of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in order to shed light on the overall debate about the gendered nature of IPV. The main expectation is that we will observe a worsening of the differential between men and women in such long-term trajectories due to a patriarchal structure of power in society coalescing into womens cumulative histories of disadvantage. Project start and end: 2022-2024.

(UNIVAC) La accesibilidad sensorial en la universidad española: necesidades actuales y soluciones para el futuro. IP: Arias Badia, Blanca. The project aims to analyse how universities in Spain respond to the needs of people with sensory disabilities in order to offer an evidence-based diagnosis of the state of affairs in our university system. This diagnosis is a step towards the implementation of appropriate measures to guarantee access to quality education in the context of an increasing digitisation. Project start and end: 2022-2024.

- El Efecto del Tamaño de los Países en la Representación Política. IP: Lago Peñas, Ignacio. This project focuses on the electoral and partisan effects of country size from a Political Sciecne perspecctive. The assumption of existing research that preferences for public goods that vary across a country automatically translate into different partisan or electoral preferences. I argue the causal mechanism that explains the political effects of country size is the interaction between the higher costs of communication in large countries and the technological development that reduces or makes such costs disappear. nbsp; Project start and end:: 2020-2022.
- Democratic Memory and legal Education: diagnosi and proposals of improvement . PI: Aragoneses Aguado, Alfons. The research seeks to make a diagnosis of the presence of the study of dictatorships, memory and transitional justice in Spanish legal education.Project start and end: 2021-2022.
- El triángulo de polarización, confianza política y comunicación política: comprendiendo sus dinámicas en las democracias contemporáneas PI: Torcal Loriente, Mariano. This proposal is centred on the triangle of interactive relationships between citizens’ emotional political and social polarisation, their political distrust in the main institutions and actors of political representation, and the politics of party/elite competition, which produce problematic dynamics and consequences for the quality, functioning, and even potential survival of liberal contemporary democracies. Project start and end: 2020-2022.
- Historical roots of conflict and development: from Prehistory to the Colonization experience PI: Reynal Querol, Marta. The data generated by the project can be used to examine, for example, the effect of human capital and institutions and the interaction between original institutions and human capital in the explanation of current economic development and conflict, which is a central issue in this area. Project start and end of the project: 2015-2020.
- Justice and the Family: An Analysis of the Normative Significance of Procreation and Parenthood in a Just Society PI: Olsaretti, Serena. This project examines the regulatory significance of the family, procreation and parenthood for a just society. Project start and end: 2015-2021.
- The SIGN-HUB: Preserving, researching and fostering the linguistic, historical and cultural heritage of European Deaf signing communities with an integral resource. IP: Quer Villanueva, Jose Francisco. SIGN-HUB has been designed by a European research team to provide an innovative and inclusive resource hub for the linguistic, historical and cultural documentation of the Deaf communities’ heritage and for sign language assessment in clinical intervention and school settings.Project start and end: 2016-2020.
- Transnational Gangs as Agents of Mediation: Experiences of Conflict Resolution in Street Youth Organizations in Southern Europe, North Africa and the Americas PI: Feixa Pampols, Carles. The project aims to develop an updated model for the analysis of transnational youth gangs in the global age and compare street youth organisations from two transnational communities -Latinos and Arabs-, both in their homelands and in their new European neighbourhoods.
