In a survey conducted during the last term of 2019-2020, through collaboration between the Social Responsibility area and the Research Service, UPF research groups demonstrated the research conducted at the University related to the 2030 Agenda, specifically the various SDG.

The survey, in which three SDG had to be chosen, was answered by 93 groups, accounting for 73% of the existing research groups at UPF (data supplied by the Research Service). Of all the departments, the Department of Communication achieved the highest level of response (100%).

Of these 93 groups, 85 reported that their research was aligned with one or more of the SDG.

The three most cited SDG are numbers 3 (good health and wellbeing), 5 (gender equality), and 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions).

Those least cited were numbers 6 (clean water and sanitation), 7 (affordable and clean energy), and 17 (partnerships for the goals).
