Second-year students of the master's degree programme in Chinese Studies may spend time abroad at an Asian university to earn optional credits. These credits will be recognized as programme subjects, whether within the framework of an exchange programme for which the University has an agreement with a partner institution or through a scholarship or as part of the student's own arrangements.

• Applications are generally submitted in the first year of the programme.  
• Students register for the chosen mobility option in the second year of the programme and carry it out in the second and third terms to earn a total of 15 ECTS credits.
• The chosen option should be governed by a bilateral agreement between Pompeu Fabra University and the destination university.
