Catalan A1 beginners course

Starting Catalan - Catalan language course - CEFR level A1 - 2023-2024 Academic Year

The Catalan Language course is a 45-hour face-to-face course corresponding to level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The aim of this course is to provide students with the necessary language skills so that they can communicate in Catalan in some of the most common situations of their daily life. We also work on the various fundamental language skills: listening and reading comprehension, oral and written expression, and a special emphasis on lexical and grammatical content.

  • Duration and modality: 45 hours, face-to-face
  • Calendar: 12 - 29 September 2023 (course calendar) [please note that 11 & 25 September are both bank holidays]
  • Schedule: 10 am - 1.30 pm
  • Students per group: minimum 10; maximum 25
  • Enrolment: 22 May - until spots are filled
