Presentation

This innovative programme offered by UPF is addressed to students interested in multiple disciplines who want to acquire a cross-disciplinary training before choosing which study to graduate in.

The programme enables students to take subjects from different undergraduate studies during the first year and the first term of the second year. During the second year, students choose which bachelor’s degree they want to graduate in. An academic tutor will accompany and guide each student in designing his or her academic track and choosing the degree in which he or she wants to graduate.

Goals and competences

  • To facilitate more flexible access to bachelor’s degrees for students with diverse academic interests

  • To offer an innovative teaching and learning module that places emphasis on cross-disciplinarity and allows personalisation of undergraduate study

  • To accompany students in the process of choosing the degree they will be awarded on competing their undergraduate studies

  • To adapt to the functioning and organisation of the different undergraduate studies contained in the academic tracks

Open Bachelor’s Degree programme students can choose first-year subjects of the studies that form part of the programme and exceptionally second-year subjects.
