The 9th Mòstra de Cinèma Occitan, promoted by the Directorate-General for Linguistic Policy of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Catalonia, started Thursday 16 June. This 9 ^th edition will be present in 32 towns of Catalonia, France and Italy. 6 films will be screened and there will be 96 display sessions.

The Ministry of Culture organizes this activity in order to promote the knowledge of the Catalan language reality. And also to offer a broadcast platform on the Occitan film making.
