The II International Conference "Universidad y desarrollo sostenible: experiencias de aprendizaje que comprometen el futuro", organized by the Red Estatal de Docencia Universitaria (RED-U)  aims to enrich the educational experience of students with more than only technical and scientific skills. The conference should serve as a platform to think about what other skills should we expect from students, and reflect on abilities such as critical analysis, systematic reflection, collaborative decision making and a sense of responsibility and active commitment to present and future generations.

The RED-U colloquium is structured as a laboratory of ideas and experiences to rethink what the universities offer from the point of view of sustainability and environmental transformation, taking into account the long term living conditions of the people on our planet.

RED-U is a space for the dissemination and exchange of policies, experiences, methodologies and tools used by universities to evaluate and improve teaching quality and university learning. The CLIK is part of the Board of Directors of the RED-U Association.
