Each year, between 5 and 10 postdoctoral fellows in the areas of Law, History, Economics, Political Science and Humanities of the European Institute University (Florence, Italy) come to the UPF to attend the Max Weber Teaching Practice Week, a series of sessions in which they receive training related to university teaching.

This year, Per Andersson (Sweden), Zbigniew Truchlewski (Poland), Francesca Lagioia (Italy), Iakovos Iakovidis (Greece), Denis Gorea (Romania), Seetha Menon (India), Christos Tsakas (Greece) y Leonardo Carrio Cataldi (Argentina) will be guided by a number of UPF tutors for a week.

During their stay at UPF, the Max Weber fellows enjoy the opportunity to meet field-related teachers and researchers, as well as to impart some teaching hours in their corresponding UPF faculties. From the CLIK they are also offered an elaborate training and evaluation programme in collaboration with Idiomes UPF.

UPF is one of the Max Weber Programme’s partner universities together with University College of London (United Kingdom), the Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), the University of Humboldt (Germany), the Masarykovo Univerzita of Brno (Czech Republic) and the European University Institute (Italy). The UPF runs this programme since 2010 and has hosted more than 55 international researchers ever since.
