“Catalan for Beginners: A Day with Ella" is an initial Catalan course that introduces the basic lexical and grammatical resources for a person who does not know Catalan to be able to communicate in different everyday situations.

Through a fictional series and its characters, the course plunges the viewer into the heart of Barcelona. Over its three-week duration, the student will acquire a basic grounding in the Catalan language, as well as some knowledge of Catalan culture (cuisine, music and traditions); because learning a language is far more than understanding words.
