FIDU (Initial Training Programme in University Teaching) starts!

A programme particularly designed for lecturers who just began to lecture or those who started lecturing less than three years ago.

The following November 7th starts the XVII Edition of the Initial Training Programme in University Teaching (FIDU), a programme with a wide experience in initial training of UPF lecturers, that pretends to offer teaching and pedagogical training in order to improve teaching and learning processes, from the point of view of innovation and teaching quality. 

 

We have organized 3 training tracks, which include amongst others, face-to-face and online lessons, tutoring or filming of teaching.

  • Track A (170 hours, blended teaching). Starts in November.
  • Track B (80 hours, blended teaching). Starts in November.
  • Track C (25 hours, online teaching and in English). Starts in January.

 

This training programme is addressed to:

  • New UPF teaching staff who wish to improve their teaching strategies.
  • UPF teaching staff with a valid contract who have been teaching for more than two years and who wish to acquire new tools to improve their teaching quality.
  • UPF lecturers and researchers with a valid contract and are doing a postgraduate programme (master’s, doctorate) or who have earned their PhD in the last three years.

In all cases, lecturers must be teaching during the academic year 2018-2019.
