This research line addresses the need for a greater balance between the two existing health systems in Spain - the National Health System (NHS) and the Social Security System (SSS) - based on strategies for correct the important underreporting of occupational diseases.

On the other hand, the NHS, needs research to guide strategies to improve the health of the working population, health workers, especially affected since March 2020 by the COVID-19 pandemic but also situations such as motherhood, and its underprotection, in a predominantly female population (around 75%)
