This line of research, based on goal 8 of the 2030 Agenda "Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all", aims to collect and harmonize the best available information on occupational health in the 22 countries that make up the Ibero-American Region, defined by the Ibero-American Social Security Organization (OISS): Andorra, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Uruguay and Venezuela.

For that, data sources of special interest are national surveys of working conditions, national health surveys, household surveys, official records of each country, as well as data from international organizations that collect and harmonize part of these data.

The experience accumulated since 2014 with the Red experta en  Encuestas sobre Condiciones de Trabajo y Salud (Red ECoTES) is of great help to achieve the current objectives.

This line is coordinated with the Ibero-American Occupational Safety and Health Observatory (ISST Observatory) of the Ibero-American Social Security Organization (OISS), whose scientific direction is assumed by CISAL-UPF.
