April 27th 2010. The Hospital del Mar (PSMAR) creates the first Unit of Occupational Pathology of all Spain.

In Spain, there is an important sub-declaration of occupational diseases. Recent estimates, based on methodologies used in the country of Our environment have established that the under-declaration could be above 60%. The Labor Pathology Unit allowed better diagnosis and consequently the social benefits of workers as well as the prevention of occupational diseases
