Being a member of the UPF Chamber Orchestra is totally free. You must bear in mind, however, that if you want ECTS credit recognition for participating in the Chamber Orchestra, you must pay the corresponding amounts in accordance with the Decree on Public Prices.

Auditions are open to all UPF students and also musicians of any university, school or music conservatory. The only essential requirement is that you must have taken at least four years of “grau professional” (intermediate grade) or a similar level of one orchestral instrument.

In the REMARKS session, please state which instrument you play. Furthermore, you must attach:

1. a document outlining your musical track record: training, musical experience – (performances, courses, studies...-)

2. a letter of motivation

3. The name of the two plays you want to play in the audition and the chosen orchestral passage
