With the desire to give visibility to graduate, postgraduate and master's students, we have opened this bank for musicians to give them the opportunity to play as soloists alongside the University Chamber Orchestra.

The choice of the candidate will depend on the pedagogical context of each academic year and the repertoire will be agreed upon with the director.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE PART OF IT

  • Be over 18 years old

  • To be pursuing graduate, postgraduate or master's studies in interpretation during the 2023-2024 academic year

WHAT THE ORCHESTRA OFFERS YOU

  • Three concerts within the Orchestra Cycle

  1. Two annual programs are held
  2. Each program consists of three concerts that take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (first week of February and last week of May)
  3. Travel within Barcelona will be paid

  • Essays

  1. A rehearsal with the director
  2. Two rehearsals the weekend before the concert
  3. General rehearsal on the Monday afternoon before the concerts

REGISTRATION

You must attach:

  • A letter of recommendation from the teacher of the current year
  • A document with the following sections:
    • letter of motivation
    • musical experience
    • a proposal of a concert with string accompaniment
