"When I was 18 I decided to study a bachelor’s degree at UPF. Now, years later, I think of UPF as more than just a place to get a degree: it’s a place to realize myself musically, a place to experience what it is to be a professional and a chance to share all of that with others. Only thus does all that is learned take on any meaning. And only thus can one approach happiness. The Orchestra provides me with a place where I can develop as an individual and as part of a group (both technically and as a person), listen to others, work precisely and consciously, enjoy and savour each moment, improve myself, experience the conflicts that can occur in the world of the arts, feel belonging, live each moment with passion for what I do, learn, trust in myself and in others, etc. In short, the Orchestra has taught be to be professional."
