UPF Chamber Orchestra conductor since 2002-2003.

“Great musicality and energy”, in the words of the English critic Jon Tolansky after watching him conduct the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London. Since 1998, Diego Miguel-Urzanqui (La Rioja, 1978) has pursued an intense musical career taking him to concert halls in Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA. He is guest conductor of the Rencontre Internationale de Guitare Classique de Nice (France) and he currently develops an important activity within the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona as a professor of orchestral practice and chamber music.
