"Research through practice.
Creative process, notebooks and theoretical inquiry"

Exhibition Gallery Area Workshops
Dates:  January 24 to 10 April
Opening Wednesday, January 24, 1:00 p.m.

This exhibition is about research through artistic practice, a methodology that articulates theory and practice, is interdisciplinary and does not assume the separation between subject and object. It also suggests that the analysis of the same artistic work can be scientific and generate knowledge.

As a case study of research through practice, the doctoral thesis of the artist and researcher Diana Coca is presented, which makes use of this methodology. The title of the thesis is Corporations at the limit. The female body as border territory from artistic practice as research.
