  • Marta Puig: Breaking Wi-Fi MAC Address Randomisation Security With Machine Learning (supervisors: Francesc Wilhelmi and Costas Michaelides)
  • Javier Bellón: Semantic-Based Video Compression: An Approach For Reducing Network Usage While Preserving Quality (supervisors: Francesc Wilhelmi and Boris Bellalta)

The WN has a new PhD! Costas Michaelides (a UPF alumnus) successfully defended his thesis "Communication Problems in Networked Virtual Reality Gaming Systems", which received the grade of Excellent with "Cum Laude" honors.

Francesc Wilhelmi and Boris Bellalta attended the 2026 May IEEE 802 Wireless Interim Session to present a contribution in the Wireless Next Generation (WNG) session.

Marta Puig (Telecommunications Engineering student & Researcher @WN) obtained a grant from "Càtedra Artemisa" (https://www.upf.edu/web/enginyeria/ajuttfg-artemisa) to support her Bachelor's thesis work on Privacy & Security for Wi-Fi.
