Ruiz Casanova, José Francisco

Graduate in Hispanic Philology (1986) and PhD in Spanish Philology (1993) from Universitat de Barcelona. He lectures at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and has also worked at University of Saint Andrews, Université de Genève and Università Roma-III.

He has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the International Seminar on Translation and Humanism “Fundación Duques de Soria-Universidad de Valladolid, Soria” since 2009. He has also belonged to the Editorial Board of the Trilcat yearbook and Universitat Pompeu Fabra’s Trilcat research group since 2011, and has been a member of the Advisory Board of the journal Estudios de Traducción (Studies on Translation) of Universidad Complutense de Madrid since 2012. He has served as a peer reviewer for the journal Eu-topías of Universitat de València and Université de Genève since 2012 and as a member of the Editorial Board of Babélica, Madrid, Escolar y Mayo Editores (book collections on translation) since 2016.
