myESS
UPF has become the next hub for the myESS software project, a collaborative environment to document the lifecycle of cross-national survey projects.
myESS is a tool adopted by the European Social Survey (ESS) to document the data lifecycle.
The platform was initially developed to address two ongoing and routine challenges of large data collection projects: 1) communication, that is, managing the day-to-day communication with teams, and 2) information management, that is, the exchange of data, files and documentation. The latest version of myESS makes communication and information exchanges safer, faster and more efficient, as it saves time and effort of survey teams at the national and central coordination levels.
