Yes, you can choose to study modules in different subject areas. At UPF International Programs, we encourage an interdisciplinary approach, allowing students to explore diverse fields. While some modules may have specific prerequisites, the majority are introductory, facilitating cross-disciplinary engagement.

Our modular structure is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience across three key areas:

  1. Interdisciplinary Modules (BaPIS Program)
  2. Language Learning Modules
  3. Business Modules (ESCI)

Furthermore, we offer specific pathways that enable students to earn additional certificates in specialized areas. These tracks are designed to provide focused study and practical skills development in a particular field, preparing them for specific career paths.

For students studying abroad, the maximum recommended course load per trimester is typically 15-18 ECTS credits as a guideline (3-4 modules, depending on the number of credits per module). However, you have the flexibility to take on additional credits if you wish to. It's essential to strike a balance between your academic studies and your overall experience abroad, considering factors such as cultural immersion, travel, and personal exploration

  • A copy of your transcript of records
  • Travel insurance that covers emergency medical evacuation, accidents and repatriation of remains.

Educational Needs and Disability Support

The UPF Inclusion website has accessibility maps for each building in every campus.

All students who submit the Voluntary Disclosure of a Disability & Accommodation Request Form must consent to share information with selected members of staff and teams within the University in order to receive support.

All students have a right to confidentiality under the Data Protection Act, so after giving your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. However, you should take into account that this will impact the support you receive, as it will result in staff being unaware of your needs.

You will be required to submit an Accommodations Verification Letter from the Disability Service office by your home institution as a supporting document at the end of the form.
