Other options for earning elective credits

  • The Academic Credit Recognition (RAC) for university activities allows you to incorporate up to a maximum of 6 elective credits into your transcript.
    • Language Courses: provided these courses were taken during the academic period when you were enrolled at UPF.
    • For participation in the activities listed at this link

 

  • Courses taken during your Mobility (Erasmus, Bilateral Agreement, or SICUE)

During your Mobility, you can take both compulsory and elective courses. The elective courses do not need to match an elective course offered by UPF.

If you want to participate in a mobility program, make sure that you have not enrolled in and completed a number of elective credits that would prevent you from incorporating the credits you will earn during the mobility.

 

  • You can take free-choice cross-disciplinary training courses.

FTLLE refers to the training that UPF students can take at the University within the framework of studies other than those in which they are enrolled.

  • You can also incorporate into your transcript as cross-disciplinary training credits, the credits obtained for participating in the Summer Courses at the Barcelona International Summer School (BISS) or in the Barcelona Program for Interdisciplinary Studies (BaPIS).
