The Open Spaces for Student Decision-making are the body for the participation, representation and decision-making of the students of each study centre.

Any UPF student can take part and they are governed by the principles of equality, direct democracy and transparency.  Open Spaces are self-regulating for their internal operation.
From each Open Space, 6 spokespersons are elected to represent the will of the group to the Student Council Coordinator. 

From this 6 members, 4 must be elected from among the students holding positions of university representation.
