UPF ranks first place out of all Spanish universities

The Pompeu Fabra University has been selected - for the seventh consecutive year - as the best university in Spain, according to U-Ranking, carried out by the BBVA Foundation and the Valencia Institute of Economic Investigations (IVIE). The ranking takes into account teaching activity, research, innovation and technological development in the spanish institutions. The UPF holds first place once again in the list due to obtaining the best average out of the 25 indicators which were analysed, and is the only university to hold this position of first place.
62 universities were assessed overall (48 public and 14 private), and have been ranked from best to worst performance according to the indicators used.
